“The Dream” is a multi-faceted art space for exhibition and sales of interactive products while also conducting art and cultural exchanges for visitors. It can also be used as a small exhibition area as well as a platform for hosting small events. The design is an accumulation of people, creativity, commercialization aspects, and discussions related to the creative industry. It is not a traditional retail space but an enclosure that can be transformed by its visitors, artists, and anyone interested in being inspired and creative.
The design of "My Dream Art Space" utilizes corrugated lightweight PVC panels, perforated steel louvers for the ceiling, and medium-density fiberboard sculptures for storage. The Gross Floor Area is 200sqm, providing ample space for various artistic and creative endeavors.
The project started in January 2018 and was completed in June 2018. Throughout the design process, our team faced the challenge of creating a spatial design that could be adaptable to a variety of functionalities for the creative and educational industry. We had to carefully consider how to design a space that would not conflict with the existing architectural structure of the national stadium while also conveying a sense of lightweight emotion as an entity within this space.
“My Dream” is a global pop-up hub that attracts people, creatives, and discussions related to the design industry. It is not just a traditional retail space but an enclosure that can be transformed by its visitors, artists, and anyone interested in being inspired and creative.
This design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design.
